Composition: Origin

The Denomination of Origin Rueda was approved on January 2, 1980, through an Order of the Ministry of Agriculture; it was the first Denomination of Origin to be approved in the Region of Castilla y León.

The regulations currently in force are those of the Order of July 21, 2008 of the Department of Agriculture and Farming of the Regional Government of Castilla y Leon, whereby the Regulations governing the Denomination of Origin Rueda and its Regulatory Council were approved.
