With the cooperation with the well known, high class chain Romantik Hotels the white wine region D.O. Rueda shall become well better known among two target groups: consumers and hotel staff/ management in Germany and Switzerland. The focus is laid on the Verdejo wines. During the special Rueda week guests have the unique opportunity to enjoy Rueda wines in perfect combination with well matching menus in the restaurants of the Romantik Hotels. Before this, partner hotels will receive a profound education on Verdejo and the D.O. Rueda: Prior to the Rueda weeks, sommeliers, F&B-managers, kitchen chefs and staff of all participating hotels will take part in specialised tasting seminars, held by the expert on Spanish wine, David Schwarzwälder.
